I spent two weeks sailing Russia's rivers, canals, locks, lakes and byways from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Approaching this lock, the picture made by the lock bullding's reflection and the dramatic sky in the distance combined to create one of the most dramatic images of the entire trip.
